Responsibilities Include :
The AP Specialist will be responsible for accurately processing invoices, managing vendor accounts, and ensuring timely payments.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Review and process expense reports.
- Maintain vendor accounts and records, including contact information, payment terms, and account balances.
- Prepare and process payments to vendors, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers.
- Provide effective and efficient communication with vendors in a professional manner.
- Assist in the month-end close process by preparing accruals and reconciling accounts payable balances.
- Assist with audit inquiries and provide documentation as requested.
Qualifications Include :
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable role.
- Strong understanding of current and past accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar, as well as Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills to reconcile accounts and identify issues.
