The role you’ll contribute:

The Executive Director of Quality Performance and Value is responsible for creating and driving the strategic plans for AdventHealth Primary Health Division's value-based, transformative change to a sustainable & scalable, high performing division. The Executive Director leads partnerships with key stakeholders including over 400 Primary Care physicians and APPs in order to implement, track, monitor and improve AdventHealth quality and provider performance initiatives. The Executive Director builds strategic plans for improving quality & utilization performance, provider education, and documentation and coding initiatives. The Executive Director utilizes clinical expertise and relationship management to influence over 150 AHMG practices with a goal to refine and develop processes required to remain viable in today's complex healthcare environment. This position is also responsible for the planning and implementation of education, training, data reporting, and documentation integrity across all systems to ensure quality care is being delivered and captured to the highest specificity.

  • Creates and drives the strategic plan for the organization’s value-based, transformative changes necessary to remain successful in the face of healthcare’s evolving, complex changes
  • Serves as primary interface with Managed Care Payors including United, BCBS and Wellcare, among many others
  • Develops, implements and optimizes clinical and administrative processes as it pertains to division performance in quality and value-based initiatives
  • Works closely with a variety of functional groups who are responsible for project execution, to refine and develop processes for ongoing quality performance and improvement
  • Oversees the planning and implementation of education, training and communication associated with the deployment and continued success of new quality initiatives and deployment
  • Collaborates closely with multiple department leaders and staff during project research and planning implementation
  • Strengthens and optimizes the workflow effort, advising on optimum structures and helping to build-out dedicated teams and deliverables for quality and value-based operations
  • Builds strategic plans for improve the quality of documentation integrity and coding capture of all conditions, ensuring correct mapping to HCCs and complete capture of risk level of patients and populations
  • Partners with other support areas to inform and enforce business process and team/project governance methodologies and best practices
  • Helps shape early workflow planning and further refinements as necessary throughout the project process up to hand-off to implementation teams
  • Facilitates activities across the functional teams to scope the project, identify resource requirements, articulate deliverables and develop timetables in partnership with Project Managers and Practice Transformation
Qualifications


The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or Healthcare related field
  • Seven (7) years’ management experience in a hospital, physician group practice, or health system environment


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or Healthcare related field
  • Experience with a large, multi-specialty physician group
