Access Center Lead is accountable for providing quality customer service. Provides operational support in delivery of patient care in a call setting environment. In addition, the Access Center Lead supports the Manager with administrative and leadership duties to ensure the optimal performance and operations of Physician Operations and Physician Operations 2 consisting of call center and referral teams. **Principal Duties and Job Responsibilities:** Communicate in a cordial, professional manner with patients via phone. Must have medical knowledge as it relates to patient coordination of care Handles patient concerns or refers to administration appropriately Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the department Maintain patient safety Assist department management with administrative and leadership duties as assigned **Qualifications** **Knowledge and Skills Required:** Must be able to interact with patients and physicians and other hospital departments in a professional and ethical manner.
