Schedule: Full Time Shift : Day Shift Location: AdventHealth Daytona Beach – 301 Memorial Medical Parkway, Daytona Beach, FL 32117 The role you’ll contribute: The Advance Registered Nurse Practitioner provides primary care to patients under the auspices of the supervising physician. Provides care and treatment within his/her scope of practice as delineated by his/her education and training. The value you’ll bring to the team: Provides primary care and treatment to patients under the auspices of the supervising physician Assures timely and accurate entries of medical histories, progress notes and treatment recommendations in the patients’ medical records Provides service in accordance with policies and procedures Practices within scope of practice as delineated by education and training including, but not limited to: Conforms to prescriptive privileges Obtains co-signature by the supervising physician on all prescriptions written Does not prescribe narcotics Refers patients for laboratory, x-ray and specialty care for needed services that cannot be provided at the practice Assures that adequate patient health records are maintained and transferred, as required, when patient care is transferred Participates with supervising physician in a periodic review of the patients’ health records. Assures all patient management documentation, including pharmaceutical modalities, is outlined in the patient’s medical record and signed by the supervising physician. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Due to the diversity of care provided, total proficiency will be achieved through the normal work routine over a one year period of employment.
