**The role you'll contribute:**
Effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies.

Accepts accountability for use of evidence to monitor and improve care based on regulatory and practice standards.
Ability to provide on-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours per department and/or facility policy.
**Qualifications**
**The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:**
**Required:**
Associate's degree. Comment: A graduate of a diploma, associate or baccalaureate academic program in health science OR graduate of a programmatically accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology.
Current BLS through American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) current OR within 6 months of hire required.
Current RCIS through CCI required. Comment: Must obtain within 18 months, RCIS through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), OR RCES, OR RRT with post primary certification of Cardiac-Interventional Radiography through the ARRT.)
Current SA through SA required. Comment: Colorado Surgical Assistant License OR Surgical Technologist Certification upon hire unless performing SA duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, OR registration (required for Colorado only).
**Preferred:**
Experience with invasive cardiovascular technology, cardiac diagnostic/interventional procedural preferred.
