We have also received certification by The Joint Commission in collaboration with the American Stroke Association as a Primary Stroke Center. The role you’ll contribute: The Director of Quality and Performance Improvement, in collaboration with the AVP of Quality, is responsible for the integration and operations of all Quality and Performance Improvement functions and activities within the hospital. Directs activities necessary to assure effective utilization of the Hospital’s resources in order to maintain the highest quality of care achievable. Maintains the strictest confidentiality of all patient/physician information. Promotes collaboration and develops open lines of communication with department employees, patients, physicians, visitors and other personnel within and outside the Hospital. The value you’ll bring to the team: Oversees the operation of Quality and Performance Improvement functions throughout the hospital Demonstrates a clear understanding of regulations applicable to quality, patient care, patient satisfaction and/or other department functions Demonstrates sound group leadership skills Networks effectively with clinical leaders in all patient-care settings to enhance effectiveness of the plans of care development Maintains collaborative working relationships with medical and nursing staffs and other disciplines involved in plans of care Is responsible for department’s operational excellence; ensures department delivers quality services in accordance with applicable policies, procedures and professional standards Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: Graduate of an accredited school for Registered Nursing Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Five years of relevant progressive work experience in clinical healthcare, including direct experience in quality assessment and resource management.
