Job Summary :
Coordinates and performs billing and clerical tasks in support of general and specific office activities for Hospice department and staff.
Verifies accuracy of billing, patient records and compliance with rules and procedures. Coordinates small program(s) with limited budget / impact.

Essential Functions :
Identifies and resolves discrepancies in records by contacting appropriate office to obtain information on source of discrepancy.
Follows through on changing any errors in documentation. Confirms both EMR correctness and claims correctness for GIP payments.
Obtains signatures for medical director payments to ensure all are processed timely. Communicates with multiple sources for room and board payments.
