Job Summary:
Directs the day-to-day hospital operations for the market. Manages business operations of selected primary care practices and/or other specialty or sub-specialties. Provides market level leadership responsible for operations.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience: Required
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Fifteen years' related experience: Preferred
- Ten years' leadership experience: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Oversees care division operations. Manages, directs, and leads market level leadership to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Develops, directs and implements plans to ensure business objectives for the care division are achieved.
- Develops and implements operations plans and objectives, coordinates care, services, and programming to achieve care division objectives at the market and divisional level.
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Develops/monitors/maintains FTE, capital, and operational budgets.
- Reviews department systems, concerns, budgets, and goals with physicians, including cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
