What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at Adventure Park Academy?
We are seeking qualified childcare professionals that possess the necessary credentials to work in our childcare center. Our learning environment requires a dedicated professional that understands their contribution to the team; we are looking for an individual that is dependable, punctual and professional. This position is available immediately, upon background authorizations. We are looking to hire full-time employees.
Hourly salary is commensurate with educational background and years of experience.* We are offering a sign on bonus for eligible candidates. *

Qualifications:
- Must meet state licensing requirements for education of 90-hour Preschool certification, 9 hour communication training, Basic Health and Safety training, and ADA training
- Must meet all standards and requirements relating to education and experience as set by the state and accreditation agent.
- Must be teacher-qualified.
- Must possess the ability to coach others and provide positive direction and the ability to delegate tasks to accomplish classroom objectives.
- Must be 19 years of age with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a childcare center or equivalent college course work.
- Must be able to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in the English language.
- CPR/First Aid Training certificates (Preferred)
Performance Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Program Director and/or Assistant Director the Teacher is responsible for the following areas:
1. Maintain safety and ensure the welfare of all enrolled children, supervision of children during all activities
2. The day-to-day operations of the classroom, including maintaining a harmonious and efficient environment.
3. Curriculum: planning, implantation and documentation and evaluation such as arts and crafts, group time, science, indoor and outdoor games, and snacks. Lesson Plans, curriculum plans, supply requests, etc. are completed on time.
4. Effective Parent communication both verbal and written

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
