Job duties and expectations
  • Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate and use, both in learning activities and in imaginary play.
  • Establish and enforce riles for behavior, and procedures for maintain order.
  • Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development, such as arts and crafts, music, STEAM, storytelling, outdoor adventures, and games.
  • Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health based on our curriculum.
  • Meet with parents/guardians to discuss their children's progress and needs.
  • Prepare reports on students and activities as required by administration.
  • Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and administrators in the development, evaluation, and revision of preschool programs.

Job Requirements

  • Experience working with 2-5 year old children.
  • MSDE qualified Teacher (90- hour Preschool Certification)
  • Has successfully completed or willing to take state-required pre-service training- Basic Heath and Safety, COVID-19, ADA)
  • Strong written and communication skills
