Welcome to Adventure Pet Resort. We are a premier pet resort serving pet parents in the Las Vegas community. We foster a positive work environment in a team setting with opportunity to grow from within.
We are currently looking for dedicated and reliable team members who possess a strong work ethic to fill our Pet Care Technician position. As we are open 7 days a week (holidays included) we are looking for a candidate with open availability and understanding holiday scheduling is important.
A Pet Care Technician has a wide range of roles, but most important role is dog health, safety, and cleanliness. Job duties range from feeding to cleaning suites to laundry. All of these duties are vital roles in our day to day operations. We strive to have hard working team players who have the passion to care for a wide range of pets as if they were your own.
Primary Duties:
- Proper feeding and medicating dogs. Following directions provided by pet parents
- Continuous water changes of boarding pets
- Cleanliness of boarding rooms. Cleaning up messes when they happen. Checking owners belongings and washing if needed
- Move dogs from private suites to assigned play areas as well as getting dogs from lobby from pet parents and putting them in their respective area.
- Communicate with other staff on property regarding park dogs when needed using a 2-way radio.
- General cleaning and disinfecting of building
- Bathe client dogs
- Customer service and answering phone calls from pet parents
- Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Required:
- Must be comfortable working with large groups of dogs of all sizes
- Operate a smartphone and 2-way radio
- Comprehensive verbal and written skills. (Must be able to speak loud enough to be heard over barking dogs)
- Must be dependable and show up for all scheduled shifts.
- Ability to follow instructions.
