Quality Control Engineer

We currently have an opening on our Quality team. Successful engineers enjoy this high visibility job that can showcase their talents. Specific requirements of the position include: * Coordinating new product launches and repurposing of existing equipment on assigned machine lines; * Overseeing design changes in tooling, fixtures and gages; * Leading Kaizen and other improvement activities; * Influencing Quality & Production to realize cost reductions through greater efficiencies; * Managing line efficiencies with a focus on safety and ergonomics; * Working with outside vendors to ensure smooth project integration with minimal impact to current production; * The ability and desire to occasionally travel internationally for projects. Successful candidates will possess: * Engineering Degree with focus in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing preferred; * Ability to work in a high paced team-oriented environment; * Great project and time management skills; * Experience with 2D and 3D CAD design software; * Systematic troubleshooting abilities/root cause analysis; * Working knowledge of GD&T principles; * Strong sense of ownership; * Relevant experience in a CNC machining preferred.
