Summary:  

The Training Manager, PRD- Innovation, Training and Communication is responsible for identifying new and improved instructional design, development and delivery of technological system and process enhancements curricula in support of promotional copy review and approval strategies based on adult learning principles in collaboration and consideration of diverse perspectives from various partners. Adhering to all applicable policies/procedures as outlined in TV-SOP-17218, the Training Manager will design, develop and delivery professional and technical training on current technologies and new initiatives through web-based tutorials; instructor-led and hands-on workshops; remote sessions, and online self-paced training platforms. The scope of this function will also include support of quality assurance, audits, and other initiatives to ensure a compliant and efficient infrastructure within the Promotional Review department. 


Responsibilities:  

Training Manager: 75% 

  • Strategically collaborate cross functionally with internal and external business partners to proactively ideate, create, plan, and execute innovative solutions and curricula to support and transform copy approval processes and technology, including testing, training, and communication throughout the project.
  • Proactively identify training needs of internal/external stakeholders associated with the Copy Approval Process and System leveraging adult learning philosophies and practices - Leverage and understand the appropriate learning tools and construct through a variety of mediums (hands-on, live, WebEx etc.) - Proactively train and communicate timely updates related to copy approval processes and system changes or enhancements to minimize disruption to the business and address needs of the business - Identify/implement optimal structure to organize training resources and communications for end user accessibility and traceability and maintain accuracy of training content and resources to align with evolving changes to SOPs, policies, and other related Work Instructions
  • Lead, orchestrate and conduct training sessions for end users including the development and maintenance of training resources including curriculum development to capitalize on differentiated user experience and learning needs that ensure all stakeholders remain current and compliant with process and system - Identify, create, and orchestrate distribution for various communications such as system enhancements, organizational and functionality changes, process updates/advancements, best practices, helpful hints, and training resources
  • Develop project plans and lead work steams to test / execute innovative ideas/solution/advancements including the establishment and execution of change management and communication strategies to drive successful adoption.
  • Develop and maintain Subject Matter Expertise in copy approval process and technology to build out both short-term and long-term business objectives.
  • Assist Associate Director, Innovation, Training and Communication with the creation and dissemination of VOC surveys; identification of insights, trends and training needs to implement appropriate action  

Quality Assurance: 25%

  • Ensure that all project elements under development adhere to and align to the Copy Approval SOPs; documentation of curriculum content, work instructions, training, communication advisories are properly stored and tagged for easy search & distribution. Active participant in process and system validation documentation and testing for all configuration changes. Support CAPA Champion Leads in achieving Quality Assurance deliverables.   

Qualifications:  

EDUCATION:

  • BA/BS is required. A minimum of 5 years experience in areas such as Instructional Design, LMS, Adult Learning Principles and Practices as well as the design, planning and delivery of instructional/training programs.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Demonstrates a strategic and holistic understanding of training-related expertise including identification of training opportunities, project and change management principles and capabilities from inception through implementation and monitoring.
  • Proactively manage superb execution of innovative and practical solutions relative to training deliverables.  
  • Thorough project management principles and application to fully manage training implementation based on understanding of business processes, system capabilities and priorities of key stakeholders. 
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with all levels across the organization, as well as to interact effectively with senior management. 
  • Understanding of regulatory and health care compliance guidelines with regards to process and system technology. 
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects. 
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a matrixed organization supporting multiple stakeholders. 

PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Thorough understanding of Adult Learning strategies leveraging Instructional Design theory, LMS, Project and Change Management practices
  • Facilitate learning solutions through various platforms including in-person, virtual/remote classroom, and on-line self-directed programs to enhance learning, retention, and performance
  • Thorough understanding and application knowledge of Digital Asset Management (DAM) development, taxonomy, training and deployment strategies.
  • Fundamental, baseline knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Modular Content principles and application
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with ability to write communications for a variety of audiences. 
  • Analytical mind-set to interpret and evaluate data to offer solution-based strategies and establish performance metrics
  • Must be able to drive success strategically and tactically, leading by example
  • Advanced computer analytic skills (i.e., Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Articulate Rise, LMS, DAM)
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem solving/resolution and cross functional influencing skills
  • Customer focus and detail-oriented
  • Must be a team player, goal driven and a problem-solver
  • Cross functional team experience highly desired
