Purpose:
This position supports Enterprise Population Health strategic priorities related to Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovations (CMMI) programs. This position will be primarily responsible for the ongoing operational functions supporting Government Programs, including, but not limited to, providing application support, performing tasks to ensure ongoing program compliance, analyzing and presenting claims data, providing project management and logistical support for associated Boards/Committees/Work Group meetings. This position requires strategic and critical thinking ability, strong interpersonal skills, strong analytic and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Accountabilities:
- Support ongoing Government Program operations by coordinating key deliverables for Government Program applications, agreements, periodic reporting needs, change cycles, and certifications. Maintain records and accounts in platforms related to program administration.
- Coordinate claims reconciliation in partnership with internal stakeholders and vendors to predict ongoing performance. Performance data analysis in support of performance improvement initiatives. Create presentations and present data in a clear and concise manner for the review of Enterprise Population Health management and leadership.
- Provide logistical and project management support to boards, work teams, and groups that oversee Government Programs strategic initiatives
- Contribute to internal communication efforts for Government Programs, monitor shared inboxes, and respond to questions from internal stakeholders.
- Support continuous learning in the department by serving as a learning point of contact and sharing feedback on webinars and other education sessions hosted by CMS or industry experts.
Position Requirements:
- Level of Education: Associate's degree (minimum) Preferably in healthcare or business administration, public health, finance statistics, nursing, or related field courses related to data visualization or database management
- Experience: None Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with experience in analyzing large data sets.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Some demonstrated success working within a large or highly matrixed organization.
- Basic understanding of government programs, initiatives, and health policy (CMS/Medicare/Medicaid, CMMI, other value~based payment programs)
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with some experience in preparing and delivering written and oral reports and presentations.
- Aptitude for problem~solving and demonstrated ability to facilitate group activities with passion and maintain group energy.
