Position Requirements:
~ Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field in psychological and neuropsychological testing
~Preferred experience and exposure to psychological assessment with diverse pediatric patient populations and diagnostic groups
~preferred knowledge of routine Pediatric neuropsychological tests (WAIS~IV, WISC~V)
~good patient rapport skills
~basic computer literacy
~good communication skills
~good organizational skills
~has basic exposure to psychological terminology
~behavioral observations convey patient behaviors
~CPR
~ability to work in a fast paced environment with established time constraints
~interact with both medical and psychological patients
~flexible with work schedule and hours
If position has direct patient care or direct patient contact, the following lifting requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 6/1/15. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case~by~case basis.
Purpose:
Under supervision of a clinical Neuropsychologist: Administers routine psychological and neuropsychological testing procedures and provides technical analysis (scoring) of the
subsequent data.
