Title: Medicare Insurance Sales Agent

An Active HEALTH insurance license in VERMONT is required
Responsibilities
- Our Sales Representative will sell individual health plan products and services in a field setting.
- Make sales presentations to eligible qualified Medicare persons - virtually, at their homes, doctors' offices, etc. using approved governmental guidelines.
- Initiate sales opportunities with seniors, individually or in groups, to sell individual health plan policies.
- Make virtual and on-site presentations to prospective seniors or senior groups to increase enrollment.
- Qualify prospects onsite and close sale, if possible. Otherwise, refer to inside sales for follow-up.
- Influence department’s strategy.
- The Advocate Health Advisors Sales Representative sells individual health plan products and services in a field setting tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Under minimum supervision, initiates sales opportunities with seniors, individually or in groups, to sell individual health plan policies.
- Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Hold an active Health & Life Insurance License
Medicare sales experience - (2 years experience preferred)
- Ability to establish relationships with community partners
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Ability to successfully navigate mobile applications
- High level of self-motivation; ability to accomplish goals independently
- Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s Degree
