Advocates is seeking caring, supportive, driven clinical professionals to offer stabilization and guidance to those in crisis.
The Community Crisis Stabilization Clinician will provide clinical support services to individuals served by the Respite/Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) Program.
Are you ready to make a difference?
- Assist and support clients, attending to their safety and wellbeing, and knowing the whereabouts of all clients while on shift.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for all people staying at the program.
- Provide phone support to clients living in remote sites.
- Assist clients in Respite/CCS with all daily living skills/needs.
- Provide shift reports to other team members.
- Monitor clients' medications while they are in Respite.
- Determine the most appropriate response to clients in crisis in collaboration with the team.
- Provide information on treatment and referral services.
- Maintain necessary documentation, statistics, and clinical records in accordance with program requirements.
- Ensure an environment that promotes safety, recovery, and treatment.
- Attends and actively participates in supervision, staff, team, and family meetings.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license, have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including documentation abilities.
- Excellent assessment and intake skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain satisfactory working relationships with employees and providers.
- Ethical, client-centered and open-minded approach.
- Ability to contribute independently to a team-oriented environment.
- Strongly prefer a candidate that will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
