Accounts Receivable team
Accounts Receivable is part of Group Finance. Group Finance is responsible for all reporting and financials of Adyen - from reporting to the different central banks to paying out our employees and ensuring that we are compliant in all countries.
As a Nextgen in the Accounts Receivable team, you will be the first gatekeeper to ensure proper accounting and bookkeeping for our financial numbers. You will also maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, manage their expectations, and ensure smooth processes.
Operationally this means that you will be involved in cash reconciliation, answering questions from internal and external stakeholders, and supporting ongoing projects.
Tasks may include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for matching the incoming payments of merchants to open standing invoices.
- Answering tickets from our merchants regarding payments, invoices, and other queries related to Finance.
- Creating (manual) invoices to correct errors in the billing run.
- Helping out on automation projects to ensure that the operational work decreases.
Who you are:
- You have a great sense of responsibility and strong analytical skills;
- You understand you'll be working with confidential data and will act accordingly;
- You pick up new information easily, take ownership and are collaborative;
- You are a student and have the ambition to join Adyen full-time after graduating.
Requirements:
- You are registered and living in the Netherlands;
- You are graduating within 6 to 12 months (and currently enrolled in a study program);
- You are able to work from our Amsterdam offices;
- You can speak and write English on a professional level;
- You are available to work at least 16 hours a week.
