Tech Risk & Control Specialist
We are looking for a Tech Risk & Control Specialist in our Amsterdam office that will contribute to Adyen’s fast growth. You will be part of the global Corporate Risk & Internal Control team and as a Tech Risk & Control Specialist you have a proactive mindset and are eager to learn. You are looking for an opportunity to learn from the best engineers and supporting them with improving processes and controls. Scaling our platform and automating controls will drive our growth path and this is where you can make an impact. You will support Adyen in assessing technology risks (such as platform service disruptions and cyber security threats) to meet our customers’ high expectations on platform availability, reliability and security.
What you’ll do:
- Contribute to the technical resilience of our platform
- Continuously improve Adyen’s control framework together with the Internal Control team and Adyen business teams, based on changes in our business, products and platform
- Evaluate processes and controls to identify opportunities for improvement and automation
- Coordinate and perform testing of controls and report on the effectiveness of Adyen’s risk and control systems
- Support with requests from regulators and auditors to ensure successful audit cycles (e.g. ISAE 3402 and SOC2 audits)
Who you are:
- A proactive, energetic, lifelong learner with a hands-on mentality
- Eagerness to work in an innovative technology company within the financial sector
- Relevant working experience as an auditor/advisor or as a risk & control specialist
- Experience within the payments industry is not required, but experience with technology risk management is a plus
- Great communication and influencing skills
