This a remote-first position based out of either our Arlington, VA or Pittsburgh, PA office with occasional travel to project/client sites and other firm office locations. Role and Responsibilities for Position:
- Manage critical points in the marketing process including Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) responses, Requests for Proposal (RFP) responses, and development of other marketing collateral
- Develop and produce high-quality proposals and qualifications packages for various pursuits such as federal government, state and local government, higher education, and private sector
- Review draft and final versions of RFQs and Proposals for responsiveness to RFI/RFQ/RFP, thoroughness, accuracy, staffing, financial considerations, quality and effective design and layout
- Actively manage the proposal and presentation process from start to finish, consistently applying marketing best practices related to design, writing, editing, layout and production
- Manage brand templates such as PowerPoint, letterhead, business cards, and other key operational documents
- Participate in weekly team coordination calls
Our top applicants will possess the following background:
- Associate’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field – or – High School Diploma or equivalent along with relevant work experience will be considered
- 5 years of RFP response and proposal development experience
- Experience within the architecture/engineering/ construction industry preferred
- Proficiency with CRM Systems, Microsoft or Google suites, and Adobe software
- Skilled with using cloud based and mobile technology for communication
- Ability to produce timely, consistent, and error free work based on defined regulations and standards
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as on an individual basis
- Be willing to travel to visit job sites
