Database-Systems Analyst
A Tallahassee location. This opening is in-house. In this employment role, the Database/Network Analyst will work in close coordination with the staff to implement and operate internally designed program applications. The Analyst will operate systems developed for use by the company in conducting business, performing system updates and installations, and other duties in coordination with the Director of Operations.
Duties:
· Server Maintenance- Helping with Windows Server including adding/deleting users. maintaining backups and server configuration.
· Computer Inventory – Maintain an inventory of all hardware, software, and licenses for all PC’s and Servers.
· Perform analysis on purchase data to assist staff in sales and marketing efforts
· Relational database design and maintenance
· Assist in multiple types of report generations for various sources
· Assist in ordering computer hardware and software
· Support off-site employee laptop, tablet, and telephone requirements
· Organize and catalog system documentation for easy access and review
· Assist in Office 365 user maintenance
Knowledge and Skills
· Knowledge of Windows Server
· Knowledge of Windows 10 workstation (installation and configuration)
· Troubleshooting skills for all Windows, Windows 10 products
· Ability to configure and troubleshoot Local Area Networks and attached devices (ie.g., printers, PC’s, and servers)
· Interest in learning and training to enhance system knowledge and skills
· Functional knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
· Crystal Reports and SQL knowledge a plus
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience:
- Crystal Reports and SQL: 1 year - (Preferred)
- Database administration: 1 year- (Preferred)
- configuring and troubleshooting Local Area Networks: 1 year- (Preferred)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, Full Time
· Ability to commute/relocate: Reliably commute to Tallahassee office, or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Salary: $40,000 – 45,000 Annually
