Job Description

AECOM is seeking an entry level Architecture I for a position in Houston, TX . This is a client facing role with travel up to 50% . This position will be based in Houston, Texas, however travel in TX and to clients in other states in the US is required for the position.

Responsibilities:

• Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations.

• Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables.

• Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.

• Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.

• Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets.

• May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.

• May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field

• This position will be subject to a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Registration Screening.

Preferred requirements:

• AutoCAD experience

• Previous exposure or knowledge of ABA Accessibility investigations

Additional Information

• This position does not include sponsorship for US Work Authorization and will not be offered with this position.

• Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

• It is essential that the applicant be willing to travel to a variety of locations throughout the United States, that the applicant has a safe driving record and that the applicant to adhere to and maintain a responsible travel schedule when performing accessibility site investigations.

Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation (Houston, TX) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $45,000- $60,000.
