The job Role Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
This position will be responsible for serving as primary departmental resource for CAD drafting at the project level
CAD drafting will be performed in a manner which adheres to accepted engineering practices and standards, as well as company standards
Prepare and issue all associated design/drafting packages in coordination with IT support staff
Assist in the development, implementation and deployment of CAD drafting and survey standards on a departmental level, as directed
Assume primary responsibility for providing a quality work product by checking the work product of associates and assuming both schedule and quality measures
Assist in the training and development of junior staff
This position affords the ability to make an important and meaningful contribution to our projects and our clients
The role will provide the opportunity for skill development in many aspects of the profession, as well as opportunities for increased responsibility, challenges and project management
The ability to work closely with design professionals at a project level with minimal supervision
The ability to work in a team environment, using time management and multi-tasking skills
Minimum Requirements
HS 2 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid DL
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Experience with AutoCAD, Microstation, and/or InRoads
