Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking to add a CAD Technician for our Conshohocken, Pennsylvania office. Our business focuses primarily on providing professional and technical services in engineering design, code consultation, and construction phase services for a wide variety of clients both in the private and public sectors. We execute large and complex engineering projects and provide a comprehensive range of professional planning and design, systems engineering and technical assistance, program and construction management, and operations and maintenance services.
This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
This position will be responsible for serving as a departmental resource for CAD drafting/modeling at the project level.
CAD drafting/modeling will be performed in a manner which adheres to accepted engineering practices and standards, as well as company standards.
Prepare and issue all associated drafting packages in coordination with the design team.
Assist in the development, implementation, and deployment of CAD drafting/modeling and survey standards on a departmental level, as directed.
This position affords the ability to make an important and meaningful contribution to our projects and our clients.
The role will provide the opportunity for skill development in many aspects of the profession, as well as opportunities for increased responsibility and challenges.
The ability to work closely with design professionals at a project level with supervision.
The ability to work in a team environment, using time management and multi-tasking skills.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma.
Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualification:
Proficient in MicroStation and AutoCAD, with knowledge of Projectwise.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Experience with OpenRoads and OpenBridge.
Experience detailing bridge plans for PennDOT.
Familiarity with PennDOT standards.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Conshohocken, PA . The selected candidate must be available to work in Conshohocken, PA on a scheduled basis.
Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
Offered rate of compensation ( Pennsylvania locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $19.00 - $26.12/hr .
