What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Engineer position at AECOM?
AECOM is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Field Construction Engineer for a travel opportunity within the U.S.
This position is based out of Seattle, but there is no requirement to live in Seattle. Consideration will be given for all other AECOM locations such as Portland, Sacramento, Denver, Houston, Chicago, Richmond, Boston, Orlando, or any city with proximity to a major airport.
The successful candidate for the Field Construction Engineer role will support and participate in a building accessibility assessment program.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
- Perform ABA Accessibility investigations throughout the United States
- Develop and prepare elementary 2D AutoCAD plans and elevations
- Prepare independent cost estimates
- Develop accessibility survey reports
- Develop work scopes
- Provide construction management support such as bid solicitation and reviewing submittals, RFIs, and change orders
