Job Description

The Transportation Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking an electrical construction inspector or senior inspector for immediate employment; the employee will be assigned to MDTA Projects in Baltimore and Harford counties, MD. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in Construction Inspection, specific to roadway electrical items such as roadway lighting, communications, and viable message signage on highway construction projects.  The employee can look forward to projects including various highway and bridge construction projects in Baltimore and Harford counties, MD. Provide guidance to contractor personnel on the proper use of Temporary Traffic Control devices/TTC standards.We are seeking an individual who can / hasCompute simple engineering data; Work from simple plans and specifications; Make drawings, tracings, and accurate notes; Read and interpret plans for construction projectsHas good communication skills; oral and written.Understands and follow written and oral instructions; and work effectively with others.Excellent time management skills; self-motivator, team oriented At AECOM, we’re delivering a better world.We believe infrastructure creates opportunity for everyone. Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:High School Diploma or GED or 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationMust be able to read and interpret plans for construction projectsMust have valid U.S. Driver's license PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:N/A
