The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Support senior planners and/or project managers in developing layouts and concepts in the form of exhibits and drawings, and producing documents, reports, graphics, and 3D modeling
Work on the airside component of terminal redevelopment projects and planning studies (airport master plans, state aviation system plans, airport layout plans, etc.)
Able to navigate complex problems and develop solutions based on industry standards and best practices
Compile data and conducts research in support of project delivery
Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Aviation Operations, Urban Planning, Transportation Planning, Landscape Architecture, or Environmental Design
Passion for aviation and airport development projects
Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet computer programs such as Microsoft Office
Deep understanding of FAA processes, design standards, and procedures
Excellent communication skills, willingness to learn new skills, commitment to working in a team to deliver client needs
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Demonstrated experience with data management and data analysis, understanding of assumptions and constraints
Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD, AviPlan, GIS, Adobe Creative Suite, or SketchUp
Valid US Drivers License
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Aviation Management, Aviation Operations, Urban Planning, Transportation Planning, Landscape Architecture, or Environmental Design
Prior internship or work experience in aviation planning, airport operations, or piloting
