Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking an Entry-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer in the Conshohocken, PA area to join AECOM’s Water market.
This position is expected to begin in Fall 2023.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Perform various technical engineering tasks for the planning, design, and construction phases of water/wastewater treatment design projects.
Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and profiles/sections using Autodesk, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
Prepare engineering calculations and develop drawings and visual aids.
Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member.
Technical tasks may include:
Water/wastewater treatment evaluation and design
Pump station evaluation and design
Water distribution system hydraulic modeling, analysis, and design
Sewer collection system evaluation and design
Stormwater modeling, analysis, and design
Wastewater and stormwater permitting
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated coursework in hydraulic engineering and modeling, treatment design, hydrology, and other civil design-related courses is highly desirable.
Engineer in Training Certification is preferred.
Ability to work productively in a collaborative team environment and demonstrate growth potential.
A strong sense of commitment, a willingness to learn, and a desire to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Detail oriented while still able to understand/comply with the big picture/goals of a project.
Ability to multi-task.
Strong logic and writing skills.
Good communication skills.
Documents time and effort accurately.
