AECOM is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to provide storage tank and water quality compliance services to our Department of Defense (DOD) clients.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

Prepare and review Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans.

Research, review, and analyze storage tank policy and regulations.

Support regulatory compliance tasks relating to storage tank management.

Review and assess stormwater compliance methodologies employed at a facility and provide feedback and creative solutions to reduce overall risk of non-compliance.

Participate in other environment-related projects and tasks as required.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
-
4 years of engineering experience focused on storage tank compliance.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience reviewing federal, state, and local regulatory documents related to storage tank compliance.

Valid U.S. Driver's license is required for this role.

Nationwide travel (50% of the time)
Preferred Qualifications:

Strong focus and attention to detail

Strong writing, critical thinking, and reasoning skills

Basic knowledge of ArcGIS and AutoCAD software
-
Knowledge of DOD management practices as they relate to environmental compliance.

PE License is highly desired.
