AECOM is seeking an Environmental Scientist to provide water quality compliance services to Federal clients.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Research, review, and analyze water quality policy and regulations.
Support regulatory compliance tasks relating to stormwater and wastewater management.
Support the development of Water Quality Management Plans, which communicate stormwater and wastewater regulations affecting the management of water sources at a facility.
Prepare Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs).
Participate in other environment-related projects and tasks as required.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Science
4 years of experience focused on water quality compliance
Preferred Qualifications
Strong focus and attention to detail
Strong writing, critical thinking, and reasoning skills
Basic knowledge of ArcGIS and AutoCAD software
Experience reviewing and/or writing Spill Prevention Countermeasure Control (SPCC) Plans
Experience consulting DOD clients
Knowledge of DOD management practices as they relate to environmental compliance
Additional Information:
Nationwide travel (50% of the time)
Due to nature of this role, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Offered rate of compensationwill be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range of this position is: $61,000 - $107,000.
