What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Controls Analyst II position at AECOM?
AECOM is seeking a Project Controls Analyst II for immediate employment based in our Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC offices.
The Project Controls Analyst will support our Transportation business line.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the Project Managers and Project Controls Supervisor in:
Maintaining the AECOM project financial system (uploading change orders, opening and closing projects, compiling monthly EAC).
Assisting in the development of project work breakdown structure (WBS).
Setting up and administering project cost control, including monitor, collect and analyses actual costs, commitments, and accruals.
Identify cost trends and reports analysis to project management and clients and maintain project key performance indicators.
Develop reports to clients, including but not limited to progress and financial reports.
Developing and maintaining project variance and earned value reporting and highlighting exceptions to the project manager.
Evaluate tasks progress against project schedule and budget. Evaluate project performance and identify areas of concern.
Compiling monthly invoices and following up with client AP for approval and payment
Assisting the Project Manager with developing Estimate to Complete costs and revenues.
Assist in the identification of change conditions and the development of Change Order requests documents and estimates.
Manage subcontractor’s involvement in the projects. Coordinate contracts, budgets, commitments, expenditures, invoices, and performance.
Performing ad-hoc analysis as required by the Project Manager.
Develop and maintain project schedules.
General project coordination, logistics and administration.
Minimum Requirements:
Associates Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
2 years of related experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with a good understanding of Excel
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
Strong analytical skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills with a helpful mindset
Basic knowledge of project management processes
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Associates Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
2 years of related experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with a good understanding of Excel
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
Strong analytical skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills with a helpful mindset
Basic knowledge of project management processes
