Job Description
AECOM Transportation is seeking a Rail Project Manager in the New England region. This position will perform project management responsibilities on multiple rail-oriented projects within the region.
Job Duties:
Be a part of a rail & catenary design group of approximately 7-9 total employees
Become a certified AECOM project manager within 1 year of hire date
Lead and attend regular coordination meetings internal to the project team as well as client facing meetings.
Maintain a good understanding of the project scope in order to identify scope creep and initiate the change management process.
When scope changes occur, negotiate solutions to ensure outcomes meet client expectations and contractual obligations.
Ensure timely internal and external communication throughout all project phases, develop and maintain meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
Comply with the AECOM Quality Management System methodology and project management process.
Participate in monthly project reviews to review project status, budget, work plan, schedule and risks
Conduct progress meetings to exchange information and resolve issues or concerns with various key stakeholders.
Mentor staff to help them learn, enjoy and grow in their roles, while supporting and becoming familiar, passionate, and able to enjoy the core values and culture at AECOM
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related field 6 years of related experience and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Project management experience within the rail / catenary industry
Preferred Qualifications:
PE License
Experience with Projectwise, Microstation, InRoads, and/or AutoCAD

Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation (CT locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000.
