What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rail Construction Inspector position at AECOM?
AECOM is seeking for Rail Construction Inspectors to be based in the following locations: Houston, TX; Oklahoma City, OK; Kansas City, MO; or Wichita, KS.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
Coordination and inspection of contractor work while project is in progress, safety, quality assurance of materials
Track change order requests & problem issues and react to feedback from Client Management personnel, prepare reports on project details and communicate overall project goals and details to senior client managers
Assist Construction Manager with controlling and monitoring project budget & schedule
Assist Construction Manager in job walks and project acceptance by stakeholders
Contribute feedback that might make work safer, cheaper, cleaner, lower impact or any other way improve the operational success of the projects
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma plus two (2) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Relevant experience must be with railroad-related construction work
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
4 years of related experience
Position prefers a complete understanding of rail client's safety polices, construction specifications and procedures
MS Office knowledge
