Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
AECOM is seeking a Rail/Track Engineer to be based in Omaha. At AECOM, we’re delivering a better world. We believe infrastructure creates opportunity for everyone. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be integral member of a rail & civil design group of approximately 3-5 total employees.
- Assists in performing rail project management responsibilities on all new projects; gain hands on experience to become a certified AECOM project manager within 3 years of hire date.
- Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
- Proposes approach to solve problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures.
- Leads design and plan production efforts on rail projects in order to maintain high quality, meet schedules, and stay within project budgets.
- Identifies discrepancies in results.
- Mentors entry level staff to help them learn, enjoy and grow in their roles, while supporting and becoming familiar, passionate, and able to enjoy the core values and culture at AECOM.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

- Degree in Engineering
- EIT or PE
