Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a software developer for immediate employment in our Austin Office. The developer position will include but not be limited to providing software support for tasks given by the customer and software lead, attended meetings with the customer and development team, and providing weekly status to the project manager. The developer will work part time from the Austin office, part time from home and is expected to work independently without supervision.
- Provide status of tasks to Software lead during developer scrum
- Provide district support for Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) software and assist Traffic Management Center (TMC) operators in troubleshooting issues with ATMS System Report Application (SRA) reports and Data Archive Application (DAA) software
- Provide district support for the installation of ATMS software upgrades
- Track and manage software issues using Jira application
- Maintain/update existing Tableau dashboards provided to customer
- Maintain/update ATMS software application including DAA and SRA
- Assist software development team with designing, coding, and testing new applications as needed for the customer
- Create new Tableau dashboards on demand from input provided by customer
- Attend monthly contract meeting with customer to provide input on districts that for which AECOM provides support
- Participate in formal Acceptance Testing Plan (ATP) testing of major releases of the ATMS software at the customer’s testing facility in Austin
- Coordinate with district and assist with installation of monthly windows updates to ATMS servers
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS 4 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
Tableau Experience – 1 yr- Jira Experience – 1 yr
- Visual Studio/C# - Windows Forms – 1 yr
- Microsoft SQL Server - 1yr
- ATMS Application Software development – 1 yr.
