What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Alarm Service Technician position at Aegis Fire Protection, LLC?
- NICET Certification (Preferred)
- Experience reading blueprints and comprehending specifications
- Knowledge about NFPA standards, including NFPA 70 and 72
- Excellent customer relationships and communication skills; verbal and written
- Be proficient at servicing, maintaining and programming fire alarm systems
- Computer knowledge and understanding fire alarm system networks a plus
- Repair electronic components using electronic test equipment and replacement parts
- You must be able to lift equipment and tools up to 50 lbs. and be able to climb ladders and scaffolding
- Work overtime as required
Job Qualifications:
- An attention to detail and ability to work independently is essential
- Ability to maintain job-site logs by keeping excellent notes of work performed
- Three years of job-site related experience
- Knowledge of fire alarms in general
- Computer literate-Windows Applications
- Valid driver’s license
