K2 Claims Services, LLC, a subsidiary of K2 Insurance Services, LLC, is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to join its Accounting team at its Harrisburg, PA office.
K2, through its affiliated insurance companies and agencies, continues to expand its product offerings and distribution by developing new insurance programs and increasing the number and geographic diversity of its marketing, sales, underwriting, and support staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general ledger account analysis and reconciliation.
- Calculate and record revenue based on contract terms monthly.
- Track receivables.
- Post monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals.
- Process bank reconciliations.
- Assist with day to day, monthly, and year end accounting transactions.
- Process accounts payable transactions.
- Process expense reports.
- Assist with tax preparation.
- Monitor and communicate account balances with external carriers.
- Assist the Controller with special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related major is required.
- 4 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- High ethical and confidentiality standards.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
