A Credit Analyst job is available with our client, a global investment bank, located in NYC. This role is a W2 consulting role with 6-month contract to start, and with a possibility of conversion to full time. Candidates must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

A Credit Analyst job is available with our client, a global investment bank, located in NYC. This role is a W2 consulting role with 6-month contract to start, and with a possibility of conversion to full time. Candidates must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform Counterparty Credit Analysis on banks, broker dealers, clearing houses, insurance companies, REITs, mortgage companies, regulated and pension funds.
- Perform due diligence including regular information gathering discussions/meetings with clients as needed, ability to work closely with MUFG revenue generators and other internal colleagues across functions and affiliates are required skills for this role.
- Negotiate counterparty legal documentation and related credit terms, as applicable is useful.
- Analyst will be responsible for counterparties that are based in the Americas (including United States, Canada, Latin America, Cayman Islands, Bermuda).
THE SKILLS YOU NEED TO GET THE ROLE:
- 5 years of experience in performing Credit Analysis.
- Experience writing credit reviews on financial institutions .
- Intermediate level expertise in the Microsoft Suite of applications with a focus on Excel, V-Lookups and Pivot Tables.
- PowerPoint skills are a plus.
- Knowledge of repos, securities lending and derivatives products is important.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues across support functions and interact regularly with Sales/Trading revenue generators and clients.
- An interest in developing more in-depth credit analytical skills, product knowledge expertise, knowledge of counterparty legal documentation, risk measurement methodology, counterparty and risk management related technology, as well as interest in participating in periodic regional and international risk related projects and initiatives.
- Bachelors' degree is required.
