AERMOR LLC is seeking highly qualified individuals with proven experience operating, developing or testing components of the Missile Defense System (MDS) to provide support to STARCOM, Space Delta 12, 17 Test and Evaluation Squadron (TES), for testing and evaluation of MDS programs. The 17 TES MDS portfolio of programs include: Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS), Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Architecture (BOA), Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR) and Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC). These positions will assist 17 TES with operational test/assessment planning, execution, evaluation and reporting.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide input to the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) hardware-in-the-loop and digital modeling and simulation to meet testing requirements.
- Assist in the identification, and/or integration of test infrastructure capabilities (live, virtual, and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) modeling and simulation to include both Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) and digital simulation) and ways to use test infrastructure capabilities to answer operational questions. This includes operationally realistic environments for cyber, space and threat representation.
- Provide input to develop and revise the Test Design as needed.
- Provide input to develop and revise Critical Operational Issues (COI).
- Participate in the development and execution of test/assessment plans, data management and analysis plans, and detailed test/assessment procedures.
- Support operational test execution; requesting, scheduling, and tracking of test/assessment resources and facilities; identifying and preparing test/assessment equipment.
- Develop and deliver execution briefings and debriefings. Review and update documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of Operational Test and Evaluation Reports upon completion of testing.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3 years of experience with the Missile Defense System.
- Education: Bachelor of Science
- Clearance: Secret, TS/SCI eligible
- Direct experience in one or more of the following areas:
*SBIRS
*BOA
*LRDR
*C2BMC
*BMDS M&S
- Possess the ability to support data collection and test execution within Air Force and Space Force installations.
- Be proficient in technical writing, possess familiarity with MS Office software to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and MS PowerPoint.
- Position requires practical application of various missile and space systems, as operator will be utilized as subject matter expert.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while being able to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
- Must have the ability to quickly understand the customers overall technical objectives and mission.
- Some travel may be required (15%-25%).
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 6 years of experience with the Missile Defense System.
- Education: Master of Science
- Clearance: TS/SCI
- Background in Operational Testing (OT) highly desired.
- SPACE 200 and SPACE 300 training, highly desired.
- Experience with space systems operations, specifically how these operations may impact Operational Testing (OT).
- Experience in Space Command and Control (C2).
- Experience with Space acquisition, such as satellite communications, Global Positioning System (GPS), Space Domain Awareness (SDA), space superiority, or Overhead Persistent Infrared Systems (OPIR).
- Demonstrated ability to independently formulate and apply analytical tools, specifically: means, medians, percentiles, deviations, ANOVA, Generalized Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Multivariate Analysis, and Factor Analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to create automated analytical toolsets as necessary.
- Academic and practical application of the verification, validation, and accreditation of modeling and simulation.
Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00
