AERMOR is hiring a Database Administratorwith 3 years of experience to provide database and associated database systems administration. Support is provided to a variety of database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL, Sybase, and/or Informix).
Responsibilities:
- Technical specialized experience conducting requirements analysis, designing,developing, and administering database applications
- Providing operational support of computer hardware, system software, applicationssoftware, system, and user data files as configured within the associated databasesystem
- Providing maintenance for the integrity of all user/system data files, data verification following system restoration/recovery procedures, and data format conversion procedures during the import and/or export of data
- Providing database reporting/printout support
- Supporting development of operating procedures and user technical manuals
- Managing information and developing reports using database management system
- Ability to install and administer IT hardware and software including (but not limited to): Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Visual Studio.NET 2008, SharePoint, Oracle, SQL, VBS, ASP, C#, JavaScript, SIAM/RDS database handlers, Apache Tomcat, MS Access, Solaris, Symantec, HBSS, Storage Manager Server (SAN), RedHat, Oracle server hardware, HP SAN, NetApp Storage Hardware, and Windows server hardware (Dell, HP)
- Experience with SharePoint 2010 and up, Microsoft Access, XML, jQuery, Java Script, HTML, and VBA
- Working knowledge of IA/IO concepts and A&A process
- Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related discipline AND at 3 years of OR 5years of experience in providing database systems administration and associated database systems administration
- CompTIA Security certification is preferred
