Summary:
We are a fast-paced aviation company with rapid growth opportunity, and we are seeking a highly motivated team member to join our team.
The IT Director works under the administrative direction of the CFO, with minimal supervision and will manage and supervise our organization's technical operations which includes overseeing all IT related functions and ensuring all technology systems and applications support the organization's goals and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage the company's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking systems.
· Develop strategy alongside our outside IT company, as it relates to the organization's IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems).
· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
· Manage projects related to the implementation of new systems and technologies.
· Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
· Developing, implementing, and evaluating IT projects in line with organizational objectives.
· Consult senior-level management to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology.
· Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring the system’s performance.
· Identifying vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement.
· Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems.
· Keep up to date with new and emerging technologies and recommend how they can be leveraged to improve business operations.
· Provide direction, guidance, and training to staff.
· Ensuring reported issues are resolved in a timely manner.
What you’ll bring:
· Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
· Proven experience as an IT manager or in a similar role.
· Strong knowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure, and networking. Experience with Quantum and Pentagon ERP systems is a major plus.
· Familiar with Oracle environment and coding.
- Familiar with Microsoft SQL environment and SQL coding.
- Ability to use Power BI and Crystal Reports.
- Multiple server environment with RDS.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to create reports and pull data from ERP.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to think strategically and align technology with business objectives.
