Position Summary:
The Production Supervisor at Aerotech, Inc is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our electrical and/or mechanical assembly groups to produce high precision automation equipment. We operate in well lit, climate controlled, light industrial environments at multiple locations in the Pittsburgh area. This position is on-site at our Pittsburgh manufacturing facilities.

- Maintain a technology focused culture of respect, safety, attention to detail, and employee development.
- Work to continuously improve our products, processes, workflows, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
- Work directly with manufacturing engineering and R&D engineering to launch new products, processes, and technologies.
- Monitor key performance indicators to direct resources where they will have the most positive impact.
- Take an active role in recruiting, working with our human resources group, local organizations, and schools.
- This position requires a strong focus on employee development, which is critical to the future success of our company. Continuously work with new employees, existing employees, other supervisors and group leaders to expand the skillsets of our workforce.
- Supervisors at Aerotech are hands-on and must possess a broad range of electromechanical knowledge, at both the theoretical and practical levels.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, or equivalent technical manufacturing experience.
- IPC certifications preferred.
- Must possess at least 2 years of leadership experience in a light industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with data in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets. VBA and/or Google Apps Script knowledge are preferred.
- Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, specifically Epicor, preferred.
