What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist position at Aerotek?
Description:
Operation of CNC Mills & Lathes. (Makino, Nakamura, Mazak, Hass, MIlltronics)
Set up all specific programs for Mills & Lathes. Basic G& M codes.
Programs used-Mastercam, Solidworks, Mazatrol, Conversational programming
Preform all mechanical changes with the use of hand tools as needed for different tooling heads.
Reading and using blue prints to set up the machines and for quality checks of the parts.
Use of different measuring tools to make sure product is to client standards.
Documentation of all actions in company database.
Skills:
CNC Operation, CNC Set up, Inspection
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
2 year CNC degree or 2 years of CNC Mill or Lathe operation and set up.
Disqualifiers: Candidates that only have laser CNC experience
