Concrete Finisher

Description:

Miniature golf course that does design and construction of mini golf courses all around the country. This will NOT be basic flatwork, there will be a learning curve to do this properly because it's not just flatwork. Candidates will be traveling for weeks at a time (4 weeks) till projects are completed. It's a lot of physical work and demanding on one's body, so after a project, candidates will come back home and no work for 1-2 weeks to get a little break for their bodies and to spend time with their family. After the week or two, they'll get back onto a new project.

• travel for weeks at a time to complete projects
• show up on time, everyday, work hard, and take direction from the foreman to help complete projects
• mix and pour concrete
• setting forms, setting and tying rebar
• set footers and foundations
• finish, frame, and wrack

- curbs, sidewalks, etc - again this is NOT basic flatwork, there will be bends and curves

• ability to use basic hand tools and tape measure

Traveling Concrete Finishers

**must be local to Scranton - about 1.5 hours from the shop***

Pay Rate: $20-$25/hr pending experience and interview

Average salary of someone with only a year of concrete experience will make $60,000 /year which includes hourly rate, per diem, and bonuses

Per Diem: $40/day for the duration of the project....projects last anywhere from 4-12 weeks long pending the project. Example, if the project is 4 weeks long they'll get $1,120 untaxed. If the project goes for 12 weeks long it'll be $3,360 untaxed.

Client will reimburse all traveling expenses if a flight is needed

Client will provide a place to stay - usually getting an AirBnB big enough for the crew to each have their own room

Hours: 7am - 4pm....Monday-Saturday/Sunday pending the project, schedule, and start/end times. Will be working 55-65 hours a week

Location: All over the United States. Will have some local projects right now though - 2 in Maryland and 1 in Jersey
