What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Line Associate position at Aerotek?
**The Line Associate**
Responsible for completing tasks associated with the manufacturing process. This individual will generally be completing packaging tasks, but may also be asked to do other tasks as deemed necessary by the line lead or management. Sorting, packing or material processing. Candidate will be cross trained in multiple functions
**Job duties are as listed below:**
• Packing, basic assembly and assisting in production.
• Responsible for completing tasks associated with the manufacturing process.
• This individual will generally be completing packaging tasks, but may also be asked to do other tasks as deemed necessary by the line lead or management.
• Counting, Visual Inspection
**Shift: 1st/2nd and 4 on 4 off AM/PM schedule**
Payrate: $16-$18hr
**Top 3 Skills:**
Attention to detail
Ability to use computers for training
GMPs in Production environment
**Could do any of these various Jobs:**
Job #1: Loading material for the line, restocking
Job#2: Assisting to move product through the varies stages of production
Job#3: Visually inspecting product as it comes off the line and packing according to work order.
Job #4 Palatalizing packaged product on skid.
Job #5 Floating to assist in all areas of the line.
**Dress Code/Policies:**
Must adhere to all of the following GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• No gum, candy, food, or drinks on the production or warehouse floor. All food and drinks must be kept in designated location
• No nail polish, fake nails, or fake eyelashes
• No piercings- must remove all jewelry prior to entering plant. Only one solid ring band without stones allowed on the hand
• No exposed legs
• Closed toe shoes are required.
• If working in the warehouse, steel toe shoes are required.
• Pants and tops must not have holes, glitter, sequences, or other small pieces attached
• No unauthorized electronic devices are permitted on the floor, including cell phones, cameras, pagers, video cameras, recorders, or mp3 players
• No reading materials on the floor
• Hairnets must be worn while on production floor.
• Beard nets are required for any facial hair
• Hair restraints must be free of ornamentation
• Clothes and shoes must be clean, in good repair, and free of debris and ornamentation
• No perfumes or lotions
• Any band aid or bandage worn on hands must be covered by a glove while on the production floor
• No storage of tools/cleaning utensils
