Hiring for Field Service Technician
Description:
- The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing technical support, installs, maintenance, and repair services to our customers’ equipment
Responsibilities:
- Install new equipment, and test them to ensure they are working properly
- Educating the customer on how to use and maintain their equipment
- Perform maintenance and provide customer support
- Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them
- Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed
- Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customer/build and maintain relationships with the customers
Skills & Qualifications:
- Willing to travel- 60%
- Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot equipment
- Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams
- Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule
- Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job
- While not traveling or not working at customer’s site – the Field Service Technician will be required to be present in the corporate facility during normal business hours to assist with assembly of equipment, finish expense reports, and assist customers with troubleshooting issues via e-mail or phone
