What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator III position at Aerotek?
Description:
Employee will be working in a manufacturing environment and operating CNC machines, stamping and/or press operating. Will be performing set-ups, and change-overs on equipment, monitoring output and making mechanical and/or program adjustments to ensure parts are meeting quantity and quality. Will be conducting regular audits of parts produced by measuring and inspecting components to tight tolerances.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
- At least 1 year of machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience performing set ups
- GD&T experience is a plus!
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and production systems preferred.
- Ability to effectively utilize basic shop math skills required.
- Ability to use inspection and measuring devices including calipers, drop indicators, height gauges, micrometers, Keyence and CMM equipment preferred.
- Basic blueprint reading, and computer skills required.
