What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Aerotek?
Aerotek is looking for a multi-craft maintenance tech for a copper wire producer in Columbia City. Technicians will be responsible for mechanically and electrically troubleshooting furnaces, wire cutting machines, replacing gears, bearings, and leveling pumps. They will also be responsible for welding and fabricating of new and old equipment, as well as tear down, rebuilding and installing of equipment. The current state of the maintenance team performs 75% preventative maintenance with the remaining being service or reactive maintenance.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Experience MIG welding and fabrication of equipment
- Understanding of power distribution and 480 3 phase voltage
- Must have own tools
Would Be Nice:
- Electrical troubleshooting up to 480 3-phase
- TIG and Stick
- welding experience
Shift Breakdown
12 hour shifts on a 2/2/3 schedule 7am- 7pm
Will train on day shift for the first 60 days

$25
