What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Aerotek?
Description:
Responsible for preventive/predictive maintenance as well as repair of production site and support equipment.
Troubleshooting and repair of equipment as required
Inspect and replace motors, fuses, proximity / limit switches, actuators, and controllers from 24V to 480V
Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic troubleshooting and repair
Electrical (480V 3 phase, 120V and 24V Controls)
Controls experience a plus - Allen Bradley, Safety systems, panel wiring, etc.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST:
- 3 years of electrical maintenance with 24V DC controls and 480V in a manufacturing environment
- 1 year of experience of mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing environment
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Blueprint reading
- 2-3 years of reading electrical schematics
- Must be able to climb ladders and lift 50lbs
PLUS:
- Welding and fabrication experience
- PLC experience
