What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Aerotek?
Immediately hiring material handlers for a manufacturing company located in the South Philadelphia area. The material handlers will be responsible for gathering the different ingredients that will be mixed together to make flexible plastic, lifting 50lb bags of raw material onto loading hopper, cutting and dumping the bags of ingredients into the production machines, making boxes, monitoring the production machines mixing the ingredients, and using the forklift to move pallets to designated areas. Prior experience working in a manufacturing/ production environment, prior experience working with raw material and ingredients, ability to lift 50lbs, and comfortable following all company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- lift 50 lb bag raw material onto loading hopper, cut bag open & dump
- 4 hrs worth of labor because of downtime in between: picking up trash, doing paperwork, making boxes, operating forklift to organize, cleaning/housekeeping, using vacuum system to clean
- Forklift experience preferred (quicker to train) - material is palletized
- Machine has a screen that gives the instructions, following those instructions to ensure that the machines are running properly
